Welcome

Halton Field Hockey Club is the largest Field Hockey club for girls and women, in Ontario. Operating since the early 1970's (it originated as the Oakville Ladies Hockey Club and later changed its name to better reflect the actual membership of the group), the club is a member of Field Hockey Ontario and Field Hockey Canada. It is a Not-For-Profit Corporation under the Ontario Ministry of Government Services and is operated under the authority of a volunteer Board of elected Directors.

We exist to:

  • Organize and operate Field Hockey leagues and teams for girls and women
  • Promote the growth and development of Field Hockey for girls and women in the Region of Halton
  • Promote fitness, friendliness and sportsmanship among all participants

Halton Field Hockey Club - Annual General Meeting

Wednesday, August 20. 2008 - 7:00PM

Halton Field Hockey Club will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday evening August 20 at Tansley Woods Recreation Centre in Burlington, with sign-in at 6:30 - 7:00 and meeting starting at 7:00 p.m. Please look under the "Events" section for details.

All members, including players, coaches, umpires and other supporters from the 2007/08 Indoor season and 2008 Outdoor season are invited to attend.  For players under 18 years of age, voting privileges are assigned to the parent/guardian who signed their registration form.

Please come out to support the Club, and if you are interested in sharing your skills to help to make Halton not only Ontario's largest Field Hockey Club, but also the best, consider one of the opportunities for getting involved as a member of the Board of Directors, coach for upcoming season, or other activities that fit your interests and skills.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to be represented by Proxy, please complete the proxy form found in the "Events" section and forward it before August 20.
