Notice of 2019 Annual General Meeting

Date: Wednesday, August 28, 2019

Time: 7-9pm

Location: Haber Recreation Centre, Burlington, Community Room 2

We invite you to join us for our Annual General meeting on August 28. Your input and contributions are so very important to the continual growth, development, and success of our Club, so come and have your say.

Each member in attendance (or parent of a member under 18 years) will be entered into a raffle to win a $150 credit on their player or family member account, which can be applied to any future registration fees.

Director Positions and Elections

There are a number of positions on our Board of Directors that are open for election, and the descriptions of those can be found here: click for info

The Board is also looking for volunteers to join two new committees: Fundraising Committee and Special Events Committee. If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming part of the Board or joining one of the committees, please fill in this form with the nominee’s or volunteer’s information, and join us at the AGM for the vote: Nomination Form

Voting

All registered players, coaches, and associates of the Halton Field Hockey Club and parents/guardians of U18 players are eligible to vote. For players under 18 years of age, voting rights are held by the parent who is listed as the primary guardian for the player.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to have your vote counted, please fill out the proxy form and send to Patricia Lamont at info@haltonfieldhockey.com
