Junior Recreation Program

2021 Summer Outdoor Program

Players focus on the “Training to Train” portion of the  Long-Term Hockey Development (LTHD) framework, based on Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model, supplementing the skills they learn in highschool. Skill training and physical development continue to be a key focus.

U16 House League
(Girls born January 1, 2005 – December 31, 2006)
Session 1: 4-week “Shake off the Rust” session focusing on skills and drills
– Max 72 participants
– 3 pods of 8 players and 1 coach on the field at a time
– Red Zone safety precautions
– Masks mandatory (1 reusable mask provided by the club to each player)
– Dates: June start
– Location: TBD (Burlington or Oakville)
– Times: Wednesday evenings, 3 timeslots
Fees: $60 plus one time $15 administration fee

U18 House League
(Girls born January 1, 2003– December 31, 2004)
Session 1: 4-week “Shake off the Rust” session focusing on skills and drills

Notes:
U16 and U18 will take place at separate locations on Wednesday evenings
Due to the safety protocols and program structure, we will consider roster requests for siblings and existing close contacts only.
