Hey, Coach! We appreciate the support and time coaches share with our players to improve their skills and develop their field hockey game.
To help you with planning and prep for the upcoming indoor season, we are hosting a free Coaching Clinic next week.
Wednesday, October 25th @ 7-8:30 PMTansley Woods Community Centre – Community Room 5
Attendees will learn:
– basic game play for young players
– the fundamental skills that players should be taught at the house league level and how to teach these skills effectively
– how to put a session plan together
– how to provide feedback and correct issues
Sara Restani will lead the clinic. Along with being a passionate advocate for the sport, Sara has been a coach with HFHC for 12 years, is an NCCP Competition Introduction Certified Coach in Field Hockey and NCCP Field Hockey Coach Learning Facilitator.
